The only player in metaforge you can not win with anything. for me is the best player although it's hard to say this because the hielco is equally good. simply loses ligit harder than ALL OF PLAYERS here. is debatable and very nice guy. I have seen them from the few discussions. Mister stratego are you lightwing. |

In all seriousness...extremely skilled at this game and for lack of a better word you better lotto his flanks to have any realistic shot (unless you are top 10 or so). You can almost count on a triangle flag in the center, which means if you shoot a 1 down a side with following attack and guess right on spy placement you may gain a small edge in pieces. About the only time I can get a decent game against him is by aggressive attacking/lottoing a side. I think his greatest skill is piece maneuvering and misrepresentation of pieces. That is why you must force the action in my opinion and take some early risks with your 1/2 or you will be outplayed 9 times out of 10 (now it must be said that if you get an early edge, he will probably equalize on the knowledge he has of your pieces attacking). I don't even bother attempting to match wits here as cyborgs generally can outdo humans.

Awesome player, awesome bloke - very enjoyable to play against and hope to have more games against him in the future (maybe I win one someday? hahahaha). Hello Light,
I'm one year on Meta now and I'm a member of our Dutch Stratego club just for 7 months, thx to you. I enjoy it very much.
We've played many games on Meta and live as well. We meet live almost every week. We talk a lot about our favorite game and about what is going on in our Meta world.
Well, first of all you're a very nice guy. You really love stratego. So do I. You must be terrible good to handle all kind of (Lotto) attacks of scrubs like me.
Besides that you're a top moderator, because you've got respect for all of us, no matter if we are a potential or just a scrubbin dude. Go on with your mod job Light, you do fine.
Of course I hope to beat you once at Meta. Good luck mate. |

The best classic player at meta. Period. This guy just CAN'T lose. Even if he is down 2 colo's (which he was, and came back to win) he will still win. As long as you don't lotto this guy, he wins every game. He is also very funny, and if your watching one of his games, expect to hear a "fuck colo" every now and then. |

Lighty is obviously the #1 player there is in this game. the skill catagory should ahve a number 6. I wish I was half as good as he is. Lighty is also a fun person. Too bad there are no big salaries in Stratego - Lighty would be rich! Just give me one of your favorite setups Lighty and I will say even more good stuff! |

An excellent stratego player with tactical knowledge and a great ability of reading opponent's setup, not only in classic but in barrage as well. Fair and helpfull as an admin, excellent choise. Has recruited many players to Meta and is very friendly to all players registered or not, even to buttwheat :), though he hasn't yet let him feel the taste of a victory :))). A young genius - a real life Lazlo Hollyfeld. A fair & just admin who issues rulings backed by the knowledge of a master of the game and shows a wisdom beyond his years. Has a true love for the game. The heir-apparent to the Dutch stratego legacy. Can be easily diverted to discussing Warcraft 3 - this may be your only hope at a victory should you find yourself going up against him. |

An assett to Metaforge! Superb player! Very friendly!
Very consistant and holds the #2 spot in ALL 7 Classic rankings. Quite an achievement for someone so young. Certainly my closest rival on Meta!
The only thing that is slightly negative about lighty.......is that he will not play me anymore (on normal default settings) after he lost badly to me, in our last 2 games.
:-(
There is great competition between me and lighty, but I am happy to say it is friendly competition. :-)

The best classic player on meta. An all around stratego genius. An exceptional admin, that does more to help the site than anyone with exception of Chip. A friendly guy to talk to, and has played a big part in helping me climb the ranks here at meta, from basic tips to just handing me some brutal punishments along the way. |
